Rice Partners (Pvt.) Ltd and Netzero-Ag organized village-based farmer training programs in District Narowal to enhance farmers’ knowledge on Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) standards, water conservation, and practices to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The sessions also focused on human rights, child rights, and women’s economic empowerment as part of RPL’s ongoing social development initiatives. Assistant Director Agriculture, Malik Farooq, and Senior Scientist Muhammad Usman from Kala Shah Kaku guided farmers on crop and residue management, responsible pesticide use, and techniques to reduce smog through eco-friendly residue handling. Farmers actively participated and shared their field experiences, reaffirming RPL & Netzero-Ag's commitment to promoting sustainable rice cultivation and improving rural livelihoods.
